Hi! I'm a 43 yr married old mom of two boys, and I was diagnosed with bilateral stage 1A invasive breast cancer last year (April 2022) after a routine mammogram. It took me 5 rounds of lumpectomies to get clear margins on my right side, so last summer pretty much sucked. I was very close to saying yes to a partial mastectomy after 4 surgeries. My surgeon had never done 5. I'm so glad I trusted my gut and tried one more time.
