GENERAL INFORMATION
What is Camp Breastie?
Camp Breastie is an annual four-day summit where hundreds of people impacted by breast and gynecologic cancers gather for community, advocacy, and education.Think of Camp Breastie as the ultimate getaway designed for community members by community members. It’s a weekend rooted in information sharing and community cultivation with your comfort, diverse experiences, and interests in mind.
Are you wanting to meet someone else going through a similar diagnosis or high-risk experience? Do you want to engage with panels and workshops led by experts and community leaders and advocates? Have you been wanting to treat yourself or spend more time in nature? Then this is the place for you.
Camp Breastie is hosted by The Breasties, the first all-inclusive nonprofit 501(c)3 organization that creates community for survivors, previvors, stage 4 thrivers, and caregivers impacted by breast and gynecologic cancers. We’re on a mission to support and improve the experiences of the cancer community through peer-to-peer connection, resources, and advocacy.
I can’t wait! When is Camp?
Thursday, June 5th (4:00pm) - Sunday, June 8th (10:30am)
Where are we headed?
Camp Breastie will be located in Honesdale, Pennsylvania — at Bryn Mawr Mountain Retreat and Conference Center. With exclusive access to the full property of this beautiful camp, you will be surrounded by Breasties all weekend long!
Why Summer Camp?
After hosting small retreats in various cities around the U.S., we knew we had to find a bigger place where we could bring hundreds of community members together at the same time. Enter: Camp Breastie!
This mega retreat of sorts helps break down the idea that knowledge-sharing can only take place in stuffy conference rooms. With the great outdoors as the backdrop, community members are empowered to get whatever they need from the weekend — whether it's resting in nature, learning from experts, exploring movement and art, and so much more.
Who can come to Camp Breastie?
Breasties, Breasties, Breasties! Camp Breastie is open to all—previvors, survivors, thrivers, caregivers, friends and family— all who feel aligned with our mission are welcome to attend. There is no age limit, but attendees must be 18 years old to attend.

Why does this cost money?
Camp Breastie is a massive event that costs the organization $1500 per head to put on. As a nonprofit, we rely on the support of donors and sponsors to make our events possible — and to keep them accessible for all.
We are deeply committed to ensuring our events are as accessible as possible, which is why registration for Camp Breastie is BELOW our act-cost rate, at $350.
Our goal is to make Camp Breastie as accessible as possible, which is why we launched our fundraising campaign, “No Breastie Left Behind.” Through our fundraising efforts, The Breasties is offering no-cost ticket options and travel stipends through our scholarship program.
What is the difference between the price-points for tickets?
We recognize that financial situations vary, and we’re committed to making Camp Breastie as accessible as possible. That’s why we offer different ticket options, along with the opportunity to add a donation to support fellow Breasties. Camp Breastie costs the organization $1,500 per camper, and we are proud to provide a reduced community rate and scholarships to ensure accessibility for all.
