About me
Karah is a Chicago native who was diagnosed with HER2-positive breast cancer at age 29. Karah is now navigating survivorship while raising her vibrant 3-year-old daughter. Learning to balance the long-term physical and emotional impacts of cancer with the everyday joys and challenges of motherhood was possible through her involvement with the Breasties and Bobbie. These communities played a powerful role in her transition into motherhood—helping her feel seen, supported, and less alone. Today, she is passionate about sharing her experience to foster honest conversations around survivorship, finding your identity, and parenting after breast cancer.
