About me
Teyonna is a breast cancer survivor, advocate, and founder of Pausitive Outlook—a platform dedicated to early detection and empowering women to navigate the complexities of menopause. Diagnosed at 35 with stage 1C, ER+/HER2- IDC despite a healthy, active lifestyle, Teyonna’s world was upended. Less than 5 years after diagnosis, she faced the daunting challenge of recurrence and additional treatment. The onset of treatment-induced menopause tested her strength in unimaginable ways.
Feeling isolated by severe menopausal symptoms, Teyonna recognized a critical gap in conversations around menopause—especially for breast cancer survivors. Determined to fill that void, she founded Pausitive Outlook to educate, connect, and support women facing similar battles.
Beyond her work on Pausitive Outlook, Teyonna volunteers as a “Lemonista” with the Know Your Lemons Foundation, and advocates with the American Cancer Society’s Cancer Action Network.
