By learning how to be an advocate for herself after testing positive for the BRCA 1 genetic variant and undergoing a preventative mastectomy, Paige has taught tens of thousands of people around the world how to become better advocates for themselves and through her consulting and social media platforms has helped other community members become patient advocates, feel empowered and get paid to tell their stories. She truly believes that when people have a better understanding of the medical world, they know to ask the right questions and make the best decisions for their bodies.
