About me
Monica Ruiz was a newlywed in 2021 when she was diagnosed with Stage 2 Endometrial Stromal Sarcoma. She was heartbroken to learn that part of her cancer treatment would require a radical hysterectomy, forcing her into menopause and shattering her dreams of carrying her own children. Prior to starting treatment she was able to undergo fertility preservation and she and her husband are patiently waiting for a surrogate match to be able to start a family with the help of a gestational carrier.
