About me
Deltra is an advocate, poet, and deathcare coach living with Triple Negative Metastatic Breast Cancer. She founded The Good Grim to support conversations around death and The Beatnik Boob to share cancer-related poetry and art. Deltra facilitates support groups across organizations and speaks on topics like parenting with cancer, dating after diagnosis, creativity as a healing tool and end of life planning. She has been featured in Cancer Health Magazine, Wildfire Magazine , The Washington Post and NPR. Deltra resides in New England with her gaggle of girls, cats trained for post-chemo day cuddles, and an abundance of wigs.
