Join published author and editor Elizabeth DeVita for personalized guidance on your work -- whether you’re refining an idea, tackling structure, or strengthening your voice.

DeVita-Raeburn has a master's degree in public health from Columbia University and a masters from Johns Hopkins in Science Writing. Her stories have appeared in The Washington Post, Self, Glamour, Health, Psychology Today and Harper's Bazaar, among many other publications.

She is also the author of The Empty Room: Surviving the Loss of a Sibling at Any Age (2004) and The Death of Cancer: After Fifty Years on the Front Lines of Medicine, a Pioneering Oncologist Reveals Why the War on Cancer Is Winnable—and How We Can Get There (2015). Her blog about her brother's life and death is www.findingteddevita.com. She lives in New York City with her two sons.
